I long to see more people stirred or disturbed by what is going on in our country. The great deception and lies are too numerous to believe and continue without people questioning leadership. Where is the allegience to "We the People". I was saying to fellow friends the following - Do not We the People ought to be able to demand removal of a government of tyranny? I sometimes dream that I am going around telling people to wake up! wake up! And I am shaking them vigorously trying to get them out of their slumber and telling them to wake up, please wake up! I so want Americans to take control of their own destiny and this legacy of freedom and liberty that has been given to our charge.

I graduated from VCU as a history major and though my studies there have not in any way guaranteed my post in any high-paying career, I can say that I'm grateful to have had courses that taught me to DIG. Our society *cannot* advance without observing what got us here in the first place - instances of 'right' and 'wrong' alike. With all sincerity I hope our country can learn from the many mistakes of this current administration and go forward with constant vigilance. Its going to take a lot to undo the damage that has already been done & will (likely) be done until 2012. I found this post summing up so much of what I see as simply tragic in regard to the millions of Americans that are completely ignorant of our nation’s history.

America is about to take a hard turn to the right. The reaction of the Obama Administration to the effective stalling in the least of his program to turn America into some socialist paradise (or Marxist) is what I'm thinking of most. There are many that are saying that the days after the election in November will be some of the scariest America has seen. Many are thinking we might see the expected crisis after crisis hitting fast. You can tell how I think about this already. Right now over 90 million Americans are armed and protective of their right to bear arms. But keep in mind 4 Supreme Court Justices voted a few weeks ago to destroy the 2nd Amendment and Bill of Rights when they said that that right to bear arms doesn't apply to cities and states, only to the Federal Government. Like what? Now after November the Republicans should pickup I bet 60 - 80 seats or even more if we see much more damage and decline. Remember cap and trade scam is up next, all before the election. We in the Tea Party movement need to mobilize fast. It starts in days and that Marxist bill is designed to further destroy freedom and the American way of life.
