It’s easier to make up rules than it is to follow the Spirit of God. Religion can bring order and relieve pressures, but it cannot change the inner man, only God’s Spirit can do that.

We shouldn’t let church membership keep us from being members of the body of Christ. Without a vital, living, and personal relationship with Christ being a member of a church is no different than belonging to the Rotary or the Elks.
