This world
isn’t a machine,
operating by pulleys and levers.
It isn’t a roulette wheel,
operating by chance.
It’s a staging area,
prepared by God,
as an onramp to heaven
if we follow His directions.
We shouldn’t
drag our feet,
as we walk with God,
we should
dance for joy
in His presence.
God will do
things in us
and for us
that we never
imagined possible,
if we’ll let Him.
