Dr. Robert Owens Chronicles the History of the Future

In “If” S5 / E41 of I Took a Right Turn: We open up with our usual comments on the weather in the  Promised Land and other happenings in the world.  Our musical portion of the podcast begins with Put Your Hand in the Hand of the Man Who Calmed the Seas which tells us to give ourselves to Christ and trust Him because He is always there for us.  Next a song that tells to holdo because God will always hold us up, Keep On Keeping On.  Then comes a song that tells how we qualify for living in fellowship with Christ and with our Christian family, I Surrender All.  Finally, we share another of our homegrown songs the theme song for this podcast: I Took a Right Turn. 

Looking into God’s holy Word, we explore at Philippians 2:1-4 a portion of God’s Word where Paul asks us for a favor.

After this, we move on to our newest segment of the Podcast, “A Miracle Moment.”  In the segment this week, we share a miracle that has a surprising element.  

Then Robert reads another poem from his second book of poetry, Floating Through Time, “A Formula For Failure.”  Each episode this season includes a poem from this book.
