Abide in Christ March 3, 2026

In “Abide In Christ” S5 / E45 of I Took a Right Turn: We open up with our usual comments on the weather in the  Promised Land and other monumental happenings in the world including a prayer for peace.  Our musical portion of the podcast begins with Woke Up This Morning with My Mind Stayed on Jesus which tells us how we should start our day every day.  Next a song that speaks to us about remembering all Christ has done for us, Jesus I’ll ever Forget.  Then comes a song that tells how we should always turn to Christ in prayer, Jesus on the Mainline.  Finally, we share the newest of our homegrown songs: I Took a Right Turn. 

We move on to the “A Miracle Moment.”  In the segment this week, we share a miracle that shows how many people coming together can accomplish much and it has a surprise ending.  

After this looking into God’s holy Word, we explore at John 15:4-8 a familiar portion of the Gospel, the parable about the vine and the branches.

Then Robert reads another poem from his second book of poetry, Floating Through Time, “Watch Out For Success.”  Each episode this season includes a poem from this book.

In “Nothing Can Separate Us” S5 / E44 of I Took a Right Turn: We begin with our comments on the weather in the  Promised Land and a payer for peace.  We open our musical segment with a song that speaks of our journey with Christ I’m Going on With My Jesus.  Then, a song that speaks of how Christ is always there for us Because He Lives, next is a song that talks about how God is intimately there for each of us all the time He Touched Me.  Finishing up the musical portion of the podcast with one of our homegrown songs: He Called My Name. Then Robert reads another poem from his second book of poetry, Floating Through Time, “Just Beyond Reach.”  Each episode this season includes a poem from this book.
