From Nothing to Something May 21, 2025

Anyone who professes to believe,

that the universe sprang into being

through an impersonal creation event

faces the problem of individual personality.

How does personality evolve,

from impersonality?

With no basis for belief

this inevitably leads to a leap of faith.

A leap of faith

is believing in something,

that makes no sense,

and that

doesn’t fit either the facts of nature,

or observable reality.

Logic doesn’t move,

from nothing to something.

In “Now Is The Right Time” S5 E4 of I Took a Right Turn: The Podcast opens with Talk about how timing is so important.  Then comes a few well-known songs: I Surrender All, Through it All, and We Shall See the King.  We follow these with one of our homegrown songs: Servants of Peace.  Next, we open the Bible to II Corinthians 6:1-10 and where we find that God is calling us to stay on the job serving Him by serving others.  Robert reads the poem “Nothing to Something” from his Second book of Poetry, Floating Through Time.  Each episode this season includes a poem from this book.
