The Enemy Did This August 18, 2026

In “The Enemy Did This” S5 / E67 of I Took a Right Turn: Once we finish our usual comments on the weather in the  Promised Land we move on to an update on Rosalie’s continued recovery.  We ask for prayers and remind people they can send their prayer requests to us through our website www.itookarightturn.com .  Our musical portion of the podcast begins with a song that sometimes stays in my head for days afterwards, a song made famous by Johnny Cash, Put Your Hand In the Hand.  Next, we share another of our favorite songs we learned in services at the Family Worship Center, the home church of Jimmy Swaggart Ministries, Keep On Keeping On.  Then comes a song that tells the truth and nothing but the truth or as Kenneth Copeland once said, “If the Devil can’t steal your joy he can’t keep your stuff,” I Went to the Enemy’s Camp.  Finally, we share another of our homegrown songs, one that speaks of how God has saved us on purpose for a purpose, There’s a Reason. 

Looking into God’s Holy Word we turn to Matthew 13:24-30 and consider the parable of the wheat and the thistles.  We see how it relates to the church today.
