The Truth is True September 1, 2026

In “The Truth is True” S5 / E69 of I Took a Right Turn: We open up talking about the weather here in the Promised Land, we’re moving under another of this summer’s Heat Domes with extreme heat and humidity.  We talk about praying for the lost and allowing God to guide into a deeper relationship with Him.  We ask for prayers and remind people they can send their prayer requests to us.  Our musical portion of the podcast begins with an old song we picked up from services at Family Worship Center, the home church of Jimmy Swaggart Ministries, He Made a Change in Me.  Next a song that was popular during the Charismatic Renewal of the early 80s, The Latter Rain.  Then comes a song from Bill and Gloria Gatither, There’s Something About That Name.  Finally, we share another of our homegrown songs, one that God gave me during a season of weeping before the Lord, Tears of Joy. 

Looking into God’s Holy Word we turn to John 14:6-7 where we find Jesus expressly saying that He is the only way to God and that to see Him is to see God.
