Who Needs a Doctor? September 8, 2026

In “Who Needs a Doctor” S5 / E70 of I Took a Right Turn: We open up talking about the weather here in the Promised Land, we’re moving under another of this summer’s Heat Domes with extreme heat and humidity.  We talk about praying for everything and allowing God to guide into a deeper relationship with Him.  We ask for prayers and remind people they can send their prayer requests to us.  Our musical portion of the podcast begins with an old song that has blessed generations of believers and led multitudes to Christ, Just a Little Talk With Jesus.  Next a song we picked up from services at Family Worship Center, the home church of Jimmy Swaggart Ministries, Gone at Last.  Then comes a song that came to us from our time at East Valley Cathedral in Arizona, Lord You Are.  Finally, we share another of our homegrown songs, one that God gave us long years ago, Every Time I Turn Around. 

Looking into God’s Holy Word we turn to Mark 2:13-17 where we find that it isn’t the those who think they’re spiritually healthy but those who know they need help that reach out to God. We see that our Father sent His Son to seek and save the lost.
