Dr. Robert Owens Chronicles the History of the Future

I Am Who I Am October 6, 2026

In “I Am Who I Am” S5 / E74 of I Took a Right Turn: We talk about praying for everything and allowing God to guide us into a deeper relationship with Him.  We ask for prayers and remind people they can send their prayer requests to us.  Just go to  itookarightturn.com and using the information provided there send us an email.  We then talk about the weather here in the Promised Land, the summer’s Heat Domes with extreme heat and humidity have passed and we are coming out of several weeks of rain which have caused floods throughout the area.  Our musical portion of the podcast begins with a song by that perennial hit maker Chris Tomlin, Amazing Love.  Next comes a song that tells us the truth about life in general, I Know Who Holds Tomorrow.  Then comes a song that came to us from the 1970’s, I Keep Falling in Love With Him.  We couldn’t share one of our homegrown songs this week as Robert’s hands began cramping up.  Please pray that the neuropathy that is impacting his hands and feet will be healed.

Looking into God’s Holy Word we turn to John 8:58 where we find Jesus boldly proclaiming that He is God.  For all those who say Jesus never said any such thing, please read this verse in any translation you please.  Making it obvious that this is what He said, the religious people standing around Him picked up stones and wanted to kill Him for blasphemy.

We want to invite everyone to send us your miracle stories.  Everyone who does will receive one of Robert’s books free of charge.  Just go to  itookarightturn.com and using the information provided there send us an email.

Then Robert reads another poem from his second book of poetry, Floating Through Time, “Don’t Waste a Life.”  Each episode this season includes a poem from this book.

All of Robert’s more than forty books are available in paperback, Kindle, and Audible through Amazon. As we have mentioned, Robert has begun releasing studio versions of his many songs.  His songs are available under Hi name, Robert R. Owens on Spotify and all major streaming platforms.
