Macroeconomics Should Be a Required Course March 17, 2017

People avoid silence because they’re afraid of what they might hear.   Although we value our freedom of speech, polite conversation in America is subject to one crushing rule, “Don’t talk about religion or politics!”  Most of us were raised with this stifling warning in our ears.  The purpose was to avoid arguments at the dinner table but the result is a population unconcerned in the two subjects affecting life the most.  I can only talk about the weather for so long which displays the wisdom of memorizing sports stats and watching American Idol.  With the two biggest topics off the table we’re faced with either trivial pursuit or silence.  Bored with the weather and having neglected my memorization and viewing options I propose a topic to stimulate vigorous conversation without causing any bickering: economics.

Barry, Harry, and Nancy knew they had to take us through-the-looking-glass in four short years.  With no effective break on their power for the first two years, Congress moved so fast their yesterday became our tomorrow.  That tomorrow is now today.  The ruling party rammed their agenda through without one opposition vote.  Every revolution needs an emergency to justify radical surgery and the economy is the emergency available. Consequently, these descendants of FDR and LBJ shoved a raw deal down the throat of a great society.

We have now exited the fog of Progressive economic “thought” and the authoritarian central planning that it requires.  Hopefully we are now being led by someone who at least understands that you can’t spend more money that you make forever.  As Margaret Thatcher once said, “The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people’s money.”

Almost everyone is in agreement that the BHO’s stimulus failed.  According to MSNBC, “In January, Obama’s economic team predicted unemployment would rise no higher than 8 percent with the help of $787 billion in new government spending.”  However, according to the LA Times the unemployment rate in May reached a 25-year high of 9.4 percent.  The President might have seen glimmers of hope.  The administration which ran on the slogan, “The worst economy since the Great Depression” misread how bad the economy was.  How bad was it?  What’s worse than the Great Depression?  What’s their answer to this baddest of bad economies?  What was their Plan B?  Try Plan A again, and again, and again?

I think what our leaders needed as they drove the largest economy the world has ever known over the cliff was Economics 102, Macroeconomics or how an economy works.

Most people, including the best-government-money-can-buy, look at the economy as if it were controlled by magic having no idea where the rabbit goes or where the doves come from, and since I doubt I’ll convince any of our all-knowing leaders to enroll in freshman macroeconomics I want to offer a crash course in Economic Reality.

  1. Government regulations distort markets and inflate bubbles.
  2. Every generation experiences at least one bubble and at least one bust.
  3. Every bubble bursts.
  4. Every burst bubble is followed by a panic.
  5. Panics inspire economic regulations.
  6. Economic regulations reflect political ideologies not economic realities.
  7. Economic regulations always regulate the excesses of the last bubble.
  8. Economic regulations are always blind to the excesses of the next bubble.
  9. Since consumption is the purpose for production any economic regulation that ignores this fact always leads to the misapplication of resources and the misdirection of effort.
  10. Depressions are recessions with government help.
  11. It is impossible to spend yourself into prosperity.
  12. It is impossible to tax yourself into prosperity.
  13. Higher taxes lead to smaller revenue and black-markets.

The BHO’s New Economy was leading us straight to the Second World, from freedom to conformity from capitalism to the stagflation and malaise of Obamanomics.  Instead of a fair race with the rapidly transforming economies of Asia, America ran hobbled like a child in a three – legged race strapped to the stiff-legged ideas of collectivism.

Why did our leaders want us economically hobbled?  What would they gain if we fall into the swamp of poverty engulfing most of the world?  Wouldn’t they be right there with us?  Go to any Second or Third World country and you’ll see the rich and powerful behind walls in gated-communities where they live in the First World while everyone else sits in the dirt eating leaves.  Venezuela is a good current example.

In the old America, using capitalism to provide economic opportunity we avoided this fate with the growth of a massive middleclass.  Under BHO that middleclass was under assault from stagnant wages, rising prices, and disappearing jobs the middleclass was being outsourced.  How is this being accomplished?

Remember the mantra of the Clintons?  “It’s the economy stupid!” That’s still the Liberal’s strategy, riding like a flea on a rat cradle-to-grave with social engineering in the guise of economic policy.  The Progressives drive the economy into the ditch all the while saying it is someone else’s fault and shrieking that we need more of what is causing the problem: bloated government and runaway spending.  A lack of basic economic understanding was destroying the greatest economy ever forged.  A zero sum game causes divisions and arguments about who gets what when we used to all strive for the same thing: success.

Under the Trump Administration at least someone is making an effort to turn this around.  Look at the first budget proposal The Donald has put forth.  He is trying to return government to its essential purpose, defense and trade while leaving the social engineering of PBS and endowments for the arts to gain the private support which should be their bread and butter.

Look at his attempt to end the mass importation of possible terrorists whose presence provides the seedbed for a Trojan War.  How about the idea of eliminating two regulations to impose one?  How about cutting the US contributions to the UN?  Asking our allies to pay their fair share?  Standing up to the lying manipulative media?  These are all things We the People out here in fly-over country have been asking our government to enact for years.  This isn’t President Trump’s agenda.  This is ours.

Now the Progressives of both the supposed Left and the supposed Right are for once out in the open in their alliance to do nothing more than maintain their own power.  They seek to divide us.  Divide and conquer is their strategy.  We can’t let divisions divide us anymore.  We must unite and demand that the only sane policy for us is America First.

America is splintering as the melting pot becomes a smelting pot.  What is its cause?  The divisiveness of class-warfare encouraged by the only people who win through America’s split between red and blue, rich and poor, us and them.  Who are they?  If it isn’t us I guess it’s them.

President Trump Follow Your Own Advice March 15, 2017

Numerous times the President has said in his opinion the Republicans should let Obamacare alone for a year or two.  Let it implode (as it was designed to do) while the Democrats still own it.

When President Trump gave his well-received speech at CPAC he said that he has told Speaker of the House Paul Ryan and the Republican leadership in Congress to simply “let it implode.” The law is simply “repealing itself,” Trump told the audience. “All we have to do is let it implode.”  He tweeted Jan. 4, “Republicans must be careful in that the Dems own the failed ObamaCare disaster, with its poor coverage and massive premium increases……”

On another occasion the President said to Health and Human Services Secretary Tom Price, “I’ve been telling you why don’t we wait, just let it implode and let’s not take the blame.”  After a recent listening session with the GOP in Congress the President elaborated further:

And I have to say this, just in closing, and then I want to hear some of your stories. And we’ll let the press stay for your stories, if you like, but the press is making Obamacare look so good all of a sudden. I’m watching the news. It looks so good. They’re showing these reports — now, this one gets so much and this one gets so much.

First of all, it covers very few people. And it’s imploding. And ’17 will be the worst year. And I said it once, I’ll say it again. Because Obama’s gone — you know, he — things are going to be very bad this year for the people with Obamacare. They’re gonna have tremendous increases. And the Republicans, frankly, are putting themselves in a very bad position — I tell this to Tom Price all the time — by repealing Obamacare. Because people aren’t going to see the truly devastating effects of Obamacare. They’re not gonna see the devastation in ’17 and ’18 and ’19. It’ll be gone by then. It’ll — whether we do it or not, it’ll be imploded off the map.

So, the press is making it look so wonderful so that if we end it, everyone’s going to say, “Oh, remember how great Obamacare used to be? Remember how wonderful it used to be? It was so great.

It’s a little bit like President Obama. When he left, people liked him. When he was here, people didn’t like him so much. That’s the way life goes. That’s human nature.

The fact is, Obamacare is a disaster. And by — and I say this to the Republicans all the time — by repealing it, by getting rid of it, by ending it, everyone’s gonna say, “Oh, it used to be so great.” But it wasn’t great.

And I tell Tom Price and I tell Paul Ryan, I tell everyone of ’em, I say the best thing you can do politically is wait a year because it’s gonna blow itself off the map. But that’s the wrong thing to do for the country. It’s the wrong thing to do for our citizens.

Mr. President follow your own advice.  Let this monstrosity implode and let the Democrats who shoved it down our throats take the blame.  Don’t sign on to Speaker Ryan’s halfhearted attempt to shove Obamacare Lite down our throats as a remedy.  If you fall into this trap you may well be sinking your presidency.  The ABCCBSNBCCNNMASNBCPBS Cartel will hang this around your neck.  They will drag out example after example of people who have lost insurance and/or died because you repealed what was meant to be a failure in the first place.

The Democrats passed Obamacare knowing it would implode so that Hillary could then say, “See halfway measures won’t work.  We need a one payer system.”  That was the plan all along as pointed out repeatedly in this column and by many other observers.  However you, this movement, and your upset victory became the fly in their snake oil ointment.  Don’t let them snatch victory from the jaws of defeat by getting them off the hook while impaling yourself.

There is Medicaid for the truly indigent and SSI for millions who cannot help themselves.  We have a social safety net that is not enmeshed in the Obamacare nightmare.  Drop this grenade.  Dodge this bullet. Give us tax reform.  Give us regulatory reform.  Let the Democrats and their Obamacare die by a thousand cuts, and instead of rescuing them, make America great again by making America free again.

Trump Makes His Move to Drain the Swamp March 13, 2017

During his historic campaign for the presidency Donald Trump promised repeatedly that if elected he would seek to drain the swamp.  By this his many supporters believed he meant get rid of the armies of apparatchik bureaucrats who think they own the government.  The Deep State or as they call themselves the Permanent Government composed of mainly Democrat/Progressive/Socialists who make up a red tape spewing horde protected by civil service laws and the SEIU who seek to regulate every aspect of our lives.

Now he is seeking to do just that.  This can be seen in the budget proposal Mr. Trump is delivering to Congress this week.  It is as radical as anything seen in Washington in our life time.  Other presidents have promised to shrink the size of government yet none has actually delivered since Calvin Coolidge.  Of course the Democrats and their Progressive fellow travelers on the other side of the aisle are already squealing.  Look for the media megaphone of the ABCCBSNBCCNNMSNBCPBS Cartel to begin repeating into their broadcast echo chambers how many grandmothers will be pushed over cliffs, children left to starve, rivers polluted and poisons released into our homes if even one bureaucrat is laid off.  Oh the sky is falling!  How could we possibly survive without Uncle Sugar to pay people not to work and Uncle Sam the Man to tell us how to live?

Don’t be deceived by the purveyors of fake news and political spin.  The President isn’t seeking to pollute the world or starve the indigent.  He is instead seeking to reign in runaway bureaucrats who think they are the guardians of the universe.  His budget will bring about a radical contraction in the federal work force.  It is almost impossible to fire the entrenched these commissars who call themselves civil servants however you can eliminate jobs, programs and agencies thus culling the chaff.

No administration has even proposed such massive cuts since the end of WW II.  The groundbreaking budget that President Trump is set to unveil on Thursday offers a clear vision of how he plans to fulfill his promise to drain the swamp. It speaks volumes about his idea about what should be the size and role of government.  The president sees the budget process producing a new Washington.  This will not be an imperial capital.  Instead it would return to its role as a working center for a reasonable central government in a federal republic.

This would be a government prioritizing the military and homeland security.  It would be one that slashes other areas it has intruded into such as housing, foreign aid, environmental control, and public broadcasting.  This would be a government much that is smaller and much less involved in regulating the everyday life of Americans.  It would also be a government where the States have a much bigger role as is fitting in a federal republic.

According to Robert Reischauer, a former director of the Congressional Budget Office, “These are not the kind of cuts that you can accommodate by tightening the belt one notch, by shaving a little bit off of a program, or by downsizing a few staff here or there. These are cuts that would require a wholesale triage of a vast array of federal activities.”

This is what we voted for!  This is keeping your promises.  If only Schumer, McCain and the rest of the Progressives of the twin headed bird of prey that is the government party will get out of the way and let We the People get what we voted for.

It might be educational to remember that the last person elected who vowed to drain the swamp or as he called it bring about a New Federalism was Richard M. Nixon and we all know how that worked out.  Or do we?

Look back and ignore the deep throated spiel of the court historians and read The Silent Coup by Len Colodny and Robert Gettlin and expose yourself to the only place that tells the other side of that story.  Let’s pray this does not happen again and even though the gators, snakes, and weasels may not like it we finally get to drain the swamp.

Trump Protestors Professional Patsies March 10, 2017

From the snowflake college students who need a safe space to protect them from anyone who might be cruel enough to disagree with their progressive programming to the America last crowd at the DNC what we are witnessing is an organized effort to over throw the government of the United States one protest, I mean demonstration, I mean riot at a time.

In the New Speak of our Soros-funded Alinsky-trained pink shirted fascists diversity means everyone agrees with them.  Freedom of speech means no one says anything they disagree with.  And the Constitution says whatever they need it to say to do whatever they want.

How Orwellian can you get?

Reality slips down the memory hole and those who railed against Trump for saying he might not accept the results of the election reject the results of the election.

The ABCCBSNBCCNNMSNBCPBS Cartel pretends that all of this manufactured furry is spontaneous, the eruption of the grass roots.  It is more like the reflection of a Jumbo Tron on AstroTurf.  This isn’t the people speaking truth to power this is the power using people as ventriloquist dummies to mouth slogans.

How many times do we have to listen to the Cartel broadcast their talking points, the same script from all locations only to find that low and behold by the next morning these very talking points are now the personal opinion of the sheeple who make up their mob?  How many of our friends, relatives, and acquaintances profess loyalty to and cast voted for perpetually re-elected demagogues who support everything these people oppose and oppose everything they support? How many must we see to realize the dumbing down and indoctrination of our fellow citizens is working?

The newspaper nightly news late-night comedy show devotees follow their leaders and believe that the resistance to the Trump Presidency is organic.  They even join the flash mobs and carry the mass made signs.  I wonder how many realize that the planners and provocateurs who organize these protests have a training manual for protesting Trump?

Paul Sperry of the New York Post reveals:

Organizing for Action, a group founded by former President Barack Obama and featured prominently on his new post-presidency website, is distributing a training manual to anti-Trump activists that advises them to bully GOP lawmakers into backing off support for repealing ObamaCare, curbing immigration from high-risk Islamic nations and building a border wall.

The tactics promoted in the training manual were used in the highly reported protests at the recent Republican Town Hall Meetings.  Of course it was never mentioned that the Democrats were not holding any town hall meetings so that their followers would be available to harass Republicans.

The article by Sperry continues its revelations:

The manual, published with OFA partner “Indivisible,” advises protesters to go into halls quietly so as not to raise alarms, and “grab seats at the front of the room but do not all sit together.” Rather, spread out in pairs to make it seem like the whole room opposes the Republican host’s positions. “This will help reinforce the impression of broad consensus.” It also urges them to ask “hostile” questions — while keeping “a firm hold on the mic” — and loudly boo the GOP politician if he isn’t “giving you real answers.”

“Express your concern [to the event’s hosts] they are giving a platform to pro-Trump authoritarianism, racism, and corruption,” it says.

The goal is to make Republicans, even from safe districts, second-guess their support for the Trump agenda, and to prime “the ground for the 2018 midterms when Democrats retake power.”

“Even the safest [Republican] will be deeply alarmed by signs of organized opposition,” the document states, “because these actions create the impression that they’re not connected to their district and not listening to their constituents.”

After the event, protesters are advised to feed video footage to local and national media.

“Unfavorable exchanges caught on video can be devastating” for Republican lawmakers, it says, when “shared through social media and picked up by local and national media.” After protesters gave MSNBC, CNN and the networks footage of their dust-up with Chaffetz, for example, the outlets ran them continuously, forcing Chaffetz to issue statements defending himself.

The manual also advises protesters to flood “Trump-friendly” lawmakers’ Hill offices with angry phone calls and emails demanding the resignation of top White House adviser Steve Bannon.

A script advises callers to complain: “I’m honestly scared that a known racist and anti-Semite will be working just feet from the Oval Office … It is everyone’s business if a man who promoted white supremacy is serving as an adviser to the president.”

Does any of this sound familiar?  Isn’t this exactly what happened?  The whole thing was choreographed and executed just as written in the training manual.  Then it was reported as if it was spontaneous when any reporter who was even pretending to do his job could have discovered with one click of a mouse this was a put up job.

And the beat goes on:

OFA, which is run by ex-Obama officials and staffers, plans to stage 400 rallies across 42 states this year to attack Trump and Republicans over ObamaCare’s repeal.  OFA boasts more than 250 offices nationwide and more than 32,000 organizers, with another 25,000 actively under training. Since November, it’s beefed up staff and fundraising, though as a “social welfare” nonprofit, it does not have to reveal its donors.

These aren’t typical Black Lives Matter or Occupy Wall Street marchers, but rather professionally trained organizers who go through a six-week training program similar to the training — steeped in Alinsky agitation tactics — Obama received in Chicago when he was a community organizer.

Chicago socialist Saul Alinsky, known by the left as “the father of community organizing,” taught radicals to “rub raw the sores of discontent” and create the conditions for a “revolution.” He dedicated his book, “Rules for Radicals,” to “Lucifer.” Michelle Obama quoted from the book when she helped launch OFA in 2013.

Obama appears to be behind the anti-Trump protests. He praised recent demonstrations against Trump’s travel ban. And last year, after Trump’s upset victory, he personally rallied OFA troops to “protect” his legacy in a conference call. “Now is the time for some organizing,” he said. “So don’t mope” over the election results.

He promised OFA activists he would soon join them in the fray.

“Understand that I’m going to be constrained in what I do with all of you until I am again a private citizen, but that’s not so far off,” he said. “You’re going to see me early next year, and we’re going to be in a position where we can start cooking up all kinds of great stuff.”

Added the ex-president: “I promise you that next year Michelle and I are going to be right there with you, and the clouds are going to start parting, and we’re going to be busy. I’ve got all kinds of thoughts and ideas about it, but this isn’t the best time to share them.  Point is, I’m still fired up and ready to go, and I hope that all of you are, as well.”

The New York Post among other news organizations is doing the leg work.  The information is readily available for anyone who is interested.  These poor dupes who are out there screaming and marching have been pre-programmed by years of government education and decades of televised propaganda.  They honestly believe whatever the Cartel says is their personal opinion.  They aren’t evil they are merely following and supporting evil.  Lenin called them useful idiots.  That seems a bit harsh so maybe we could give them the benefit of the doubt and just call them professional patsies?

Trump Will Triumph Over Traitors Too March 6, 2017

Today We the People are faced with a situation that is unique in our 241 year history.

Never before has a former president plotted to undermine and depose his successor.  The evidence is pouring in.  His political handler Valerie Jarrett has moved into the ex-president’s palatial mansion in the posh Kalorama section of Washington into the war room for his bid to destroy the presidency of Donald Trump.  His goal is to either force The Donald to resign or see him impeached.  This is the center of the web, funded by the international monetary pirate George Soros to overturn the results of the recent election.

Professional agitators and bused in gangs have been running riot all over the country protesting the election results and attacking Trump supporters.  The Media propaganda machine is doing their best to make them look like a majority of the country.  Some state legislators are attempting to pass laws that would use criminal conspiracy and racketeering statutes to combat these counterfeit grass roots demonstrations and violence.

The bureaucratic nomenclature or as they call themselves, “The Permanent Government,” what Rush calls the Deep State or the Fusion Party, or as I call them the twin headed bird of prey is dedicated to negating the votes of millions and tossing the results of the recent election into the dust bin of History.  The media megaphone trumpets the need for a return to the status quo and this serves as the personal opinion of the Kool-Aide drinking fellow travelers.

We who voted to drain the swamp stand in watch as the ship of state runs aground on the reef of bureaucratic inertia.

We are witnessing an unprecedented assault on the Grand Old Republic.  Uncle Sam is attempting to drown Yankee Doodle in leaks, red tape, legislative slight-of-hand, and lies.  Ex-president Obama is orchestrating this so-called resistance. The hold overs from his administration are doing everything they can to throw monkey wrenches into the gears of government.  Now with his Consigliere ensconced in his own home to help coordinate the creeping nation-wide coup the pace is about to increase.  His ex-Attorney General, best remembered for meeting Bill Clinton on a runway while supposedly investigating his wife, is calling for marching, blood, and death in the streets.

All of this is nothing less than a criminal conspiracy, a combination of political hacks, crony capitalists, and their media minions plotting the overthrow of the government.  Nothing less than an attack on the very essence of everything America stands for.

Don’t despair.  Don’t let the constant drumbeat of the Media Megaphone and their fake news get you down.  Remember November 2016 should have proved to even the most doubtful, prayer works and this too shall pass.

Keep the Faith.  Keep the Peace.  We shall overcome.

For decades the globalists have been leading us down the primrose path towards their fantasy of a new world order run by them and their fellow progressive central planners at the UN.  Their four horseman of the American apocalypse; George the First, Billary, George the Second, and BHO never saw a multinational surrender of sovereignty they didn’t like.  From NAFTA to TPP from the WTO to the T-TIP they have sought every opportunity to enroll us as just one more state in their fever dream of a super state with them in control.

Currently the United States has free trade agreements in force with 20 countries. These are:

The interesting thing about most of these agreements is that while we allow goods from these countries to enter our nation duty-free and compete with our own manufacturers our partners do not.  They have various mechanisms to make sure our goods cannot compete in their markets.  They add tariffs by any other name top our goods as the arrive and give subsidies to their goods as they leave.

This anything but level playing field that our leaders have subjected us to is economically the equivalent of playing Russian roulette with a semi-automatic pistol.  It may be exciting but there isn’t any way to win.

Not only have we surrendered our ability to add tariffs to protect our markets against foreign disruption and the eventual destruction of our industrial base we have witnessed.  It also deprives the federal government of a source of revenue which was once enough to run the whole affair without an income tax.  It is not only these two negatives which point out the bad side of this bad deal.  Our globalist leaders have also signed agreements that make American enterprises and individuals subject to the edicts of the bewildering array of organizations and boards which make up the strands designed to hold the American Gulliver down.

Finally in President Donald Trump we have a leader who wants to put America first!  Finally we have a leader who is not dedicated to managing our decline but instead dedicated to our renewal.  We have chosen a leader not to lead us gentle into that good night.  Today we no longer must look at the sun setting upon us.  Today we can see a new sun rise, a new morning in America.  Instead of a leader who apologizes for our History we have a leader who proudly proclaims we will make America great again.

Case in Point:

According to the Financial Times, President Donald Trump’s administration is preparing to ignore any rulings by the World Trade Organization that it sees as an affront to U.S. sovereignty.

According to the Times the report says, “Ever since the United States won its independence, it has been a basic principle of our country that American citizens are subject only to laws and regulations made by the U.S. government — not rulings made by foreign governments or international bodies.”  The report continued, “Accordingly, the Trump administration will aggressively defend American sovereignty over matters of trade policy.”

The Wall Street Journal also reviewed the document.  They stated that the policy represents a dramatic departure from the Obama administration, which emphasized international economic rules and the authority of the WTO, a body that regulates trade and resolves disputes among its members.  The report also states that the Trump Administration will use, “all possible sources of leverage to encourage other countries to open up their markets.”

This is akin to a Second Declaration of Independence.  No more will we continue to surrender our sovereignty, the sovereignty our ancestors, our brothers and our sisters have bled and died to establish and protect be diluted in the committees of nameless faceless bureaucrats where America has no more voice than El Salvador.

Strike up the band!  Wave the flags.  A campaign became a movement.  A movement became a revolution.  And this revolution is determined to make America great again!

We Battle Not Against Flesh and Blood February 27, 2017

There are many of us who believe that prayer played a major part in the upset victory of Donald Trump last November.

He may not be a born again Christian. And he may not be one who believes in miracles.  As a person who grew up in the church of Norman Vincent Peale he is the personification of that minister’s theological doctrine of positive thinking.  Like Robert Schuller of Crystal Cathedral fame, or any of the word of faith, gab-it-and-grab-it, believe to receive crowd The Donald believes the words of his mouth have power to shape the world around him.

Anyone who sees the result of being positive as opposed to being negative knows there is much real world sense to this belief.  Is the glass half empty or is it half full?

As spirit-filled born again believers we know that it isn’t about who we are it is all about what He has done and it isn’t about what we have done it is all about who He is.  We know that prayer is the answer and faith is the key.  We know that God can use any tool to accomplish His purpose.

We also know that we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.  And in this struggle we know that a thousand may fall at our side and ten thousand at our right hand but it shall not come near us if we keep our eyes on Him.

So as we watch our president surrounded by the Progressive Fusion Party of Democrats, Republicans, courts, and media don’t despair.  Don’t return to the couch and think, “We voted him in now we can go back to sleep.”  Now is the time to do battle in the heavenlies.  This Hail Mary victory pass shall not stand unless we hit our knees.  We must hold the president and our nation up in prayers.  Pray confusion into the counsel of the enemy, pray that President Trump has the courage and strength to stand for America when everyone around him is proclaiming they are citizens of the world and that America should be just another state in a UN dominated new world order.

The nation state is what won in November.  The globalist conspiracy was thwarted at the very moment when they thought the last nail would be driven into our coffin.  They had victory snatched out of their talons and they are going berserk as the rail against the last gasp of American independence.

Many of these advocates of global centralization and the authoritarianism it would need to re-distribute the world’s goods claim to be atheists.  They are actually devotees of humanism, worshipers of self.  In other words those who have bitten the apple and listened to the siren song of the serpent, “you will be like God.”

And we also know God has promised, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”  If we will do that, if we will turn from this world and embrace Him then we shall receive the benefit of those who wait on the Lord.  We shall renew our strength.  We shall mount up with wings like eagles.  We shall run and not be weary.  We shall walk and not faint.

So why worry when we can pray?

Trump and the Deep State February 22, 2017

Words have meaning.  A word is a unit of language, consisting of one or more spoken sounds or their written representation that functions as a principal carrier of meaning.  Rush Limbaugh is a master of the English language in my opinion on a par with Winston Churchill and is the undisputed American master of quips, labeling, and metaphors.

As if to prove the point, Rush has once again coined a phrase that sums up a cultural phenomenon.  He has dubbed those Progressives embedded within the federal bureaucracy the Deep State.  This label perfectly describes those protected by the civil service acts as well as those political appointees who might be termed BHO holdovers.

The commentary flowing from the Attila the Hun Chair through the golden microphone recently shines a spotlight on the fact that the Praetorian Guard of the establishment are working overtime to overthrow the results of the recent election.

There is something reminiscent of Yogi Berra’s famous “Déjà vu all over again” in all of this.  It reminds me of the last president who was vocal about trying to drain the swamp.  Richard Nixon set out to reform the alphabet soup of agencies that supposedly provide the government with intelligence.  It turned into a game of who gets who first.  The entire Watergate debacle was populated by ex-CIA and ex-FBI agents. The CIA reports were withheld from everyone until the deed had been done, a president overthrown, and everyone involved safely out with the usual federal golden parachute of a plumb pension with a Cadillac package.

To catch lightening in a jar and see how this was all engineered and orchestrated see the seminal book The Silent Coup by Len Colodny and Robert Gettlin.  This is the only book that tells the other side of the Watergate myth.

If you consume the bilge being belched out by the ABCCBSNBCCNNMSNBC Cartel you would think that our president was attempting to establish a rule by decree imperial presidency.  That is what we have had for the last eight years.  That is what he was elected to replace with a government that governs as opposed to rule.  And that is what the Deep State is trying their best to avoid.  A government of the people, by the people, and for the people is as about as far from what we have had as you can get.  That is what we voted for.  That is what our President is trying to deliver and that is what the preprogrammed, prepaid protestors with their fill-in-the-blank signs are trying to prevent.

However you call it; the Country Party versus the Government Party, the Perpetually Re-elected Versus the Flyover Country, or Them versus Us it all adds up to one thing a nation divided.

Leave it to Rush to coin a name for that twin headed bird of prey, the government party of power, the Fusion Party.  These are two gangs of political hacks plundering the producers of this country bound together by their contempt for us and their greed.   They are bound and determined that they will not allow any motley collection of voters get between them and their swag.

The ABCCBSNBCCNNMSNBC Cartel continues its onslaught against America’s president.  The Hollywood elites pile on.  Award show after award show turns into nothing more than an opportunity and platform to trash the President Trump.

The late night comedians are seen as valid social commentators by so many of the fellow-travelers.  They seem to think the opinions of the writers of jokes and the producers of skits tell them all they need to know about current events.

Unelected black robed hacks usurp the authority of the Commander-in-Chief and don’t even pretend it has anything to do with the law, or the Constitution, or common sense.

Since the Judicial Plutocrats thwarted the will of the people as expressed in Mr. Trump’s refugee pause research tells us 77% of refugees allowed into U.S. since travel reprieve hail from seven suspect countries.

Contrary to the propaganda broadcast from the media wing of the Democrat Party, i.e. the Cartel according to the Washington Examiner:

Since 9/11, 72 individuals from the seven mostly Muslim countries covered by President Trump‘s “extreme vetting” executive order have been convicted of terrorism, bolstering the administration’s immigration ban.

According to a report out Saturday, at least 17 claimed to be refugees from those nations, three came in as “students,” and 25 eventually became U.S. citizens.

The Center for Immigration Studies calculated the numbers of convicted terrorists from the Trump Seven:

— Somalia: 20

— Yemen: 19

— Iraq: 19

— Syria: 7

— Iran: 4

— Libya: 2

And just since the temporary Refugee ban has been held captive by the courts of injustice 1,049 refugees from these seven nations have been rushed into the country by the Progressive bureaucrats who dwell in the bowls of the beast.

Our President is surrounded by sharks who will perpetually pretend there is blood in the water.  We must support him!  We must let him know that he is not alone in the battle to Make America Great Again.  It was our voted that sent him there and we must let him know we are still here.  We haven’t nodded back into the game and returned to the couch for a snooze until the next election.

We are too busy working to counter the professional agitators and full-time protestors recruited and paid for by the Soros Anti-Liberty League.  So we must do what we can.  Send the President a message and let him know that you support him and you are there.

Trump Travel Ban And The Courts of Injustice February 10, 2017

The Ninth Circus out on the Left Coast denied the Justice Department’s request on Sunday for an immediate reinstatement of President Donald Trump’s ban on accepting certain travelers and all refugees.   These politically motivated doctrinaire ideologues that custom dictates we must refer to as judges do not follow the basic instructions for their job.  It is not to make policy or to judge the correctness of policy as set by the other two branches of government.  It is to determine whether or not the actions of the other two branches follow the law.  This is the exact opposite of what the Seattle based U.S. District Judge James Robart and the three judges of the Über liberal Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals has done.

According to the Congressional Research Service Federal immigration law includes Section 1182(f), which states: “Whenever the President finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, he may by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants, or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate”

This makes it abundantly clear that President Trump’s Executive Order concerning a temporary ban on refugees in general and specifically from certain countries known to be either in a state of domestic war or previously declared as state sponsors of terrorism.  Obviously the “So-Called” judges are not even pretending to rule according to statute.  They are countermanding an order by the chief executive of the United States to an executive department and thus interfering in the operation of another branch of government for political purposes.

The argument that this is imposing a religious ban which is unconstitutional is not based on the Constitution.

The original, unamended Constitution contains only one explicit reference to religion.  This is the Article VI ban on religious tests for “any office or public trust under the United States.”  Even though there have been many court cases testing the relationship between church and state they have all dealt with the First Amendment no establishment clause and none have involved the religious test ban.  It clearly applies to federal office holders.  That has never been questioned and even the Progressives and their Living Document ACLU attorneys have never before tried to stretch it to fit the revolutionary cause De jure.

Beside which the President’s travel ban is obviously not a religiously based ban since people of all religions are banned and the citizens of the most populous Islamic countries are not.

In Chicago we used to look at the courthouses filled with crooked judges and fixit lawyers and say, “It may say justice on the outside but that doesn’t mean there’s any on the inside.”  After eight years of the Outfit running the country and 28 years of the Progressives packing the courts with political hacks this is what we have.  A judicial system that legislates from the bench protected by life-time tenure and a nation habituated to following their every whim.

That twin headed bird of prey, the government party has been rebuked and rejected by the newly motivated member of the country party with their voter revolution.  Now they mount their three pronged counter revolution:  one, the Courts to overturn the actions of our President; two the legislatures to talk everything to death, obstruct, obstruct, obstruct; and three the liberal fascists out in the street burning property and beating anyone who disagrees with them.

The lawlessness of the American Judicial system is on open display and it it isn’t pretty.  It reminds me of the politicization of the IRS, the Justice Department, the EPA and every other bureau of the Obama regime.

The Progressive foe our President Trump faces is like the Hydra, a monster in Greek mythology.  It had many heads and every time someone would cut off one of them, two more heads would grow out of the stump.  So too this insidious rot will attack from many quarters.  It will shift and change morphing from this to that trying to never appear to be what it really is a generations long attempt to subvert limited government, personal freedom, and economic opportunity and substitute it with central planning and the authoritarianism that always requires.

Don’t fooled by the biased courts, the perpetually re-elected political hacks who confirm political hacks to the bench, or their propaganda arm the ABCCBSNBCCNNMSNBC cartel.  This fight isn’t over, or at least it shouldn’t be.  According to Article III, Section 2 of the Constitution Congress has the power and the authority to control the jurisdiction of the courts.  In fact it clearly states the jurisdiction exists, “with such exceptions, and under such regulations as the Congress shall make.”  If Congress had the backbone it could trim the sails of the judicial man-of-war as it attacks our liberties and common sense.  Keep your eye on the prize.  Support the President with calls to your representatives and your prayers.

Keep the Faith.  Keep the peace.  We shall overcome.
