It took just three years for President Donald Trump to lead America from the perpetually stagnant New Normal of the Clinton/Bush/Obama Trifecta of Failure back to the Morning in America of the Reagan era. This was nothing short of an economic miracle that began the day after America’s blue-collar billionaire won the biggest upset in our political history when the stock market took off like a rocket.
In a steady assault on the Deep-State Swamp President Trump hit the delete button on more regulations in three years than every other president in our history combined. He renegotiated the give-away trade boondoggles of the Trifecta and set off an avalanche of industrial growth and the return of prodigal corporations. He rebuilt our military after eight years of neglect. He re-started our space program. He required our NATO allies to quit freeloading on the gravy train and start making meaningful contributions to their own defense. He defeated ISIS, started negotiations to end the forever war in Afghanistan, pulled out of our incursion into Syria, and created a Trump Doctrine. He alerted the world that under his administration America would only commit forces to defend our interests; no more nation-building, no more free mercenaries carrying the water for others.
Of course, the Deep-State Swamp creatures didn’t just sit on their hands. The perpetually re-elected civil service protected corporately selected troika of politicians, bureaucrats, and media megaphones fought tooth and nail. They used the politically corrupted ranks of the FBI and the national security forces to first try to undermine the Trump campaign. When that didn’t work the Obama Administration used the waning days of their regime to set in motion an attempt to thwart and if possible overthrow the incoming Trump Administration.
For three years they beat America about the ears with their fake news of supposed evidence through illegal leaks, politically motivated highly coordinated whistleblowers, and secret hearings in the underground star chamber deep in the bowls of Congress. Recent revelations brought to light through Freedom of Information exposures revealed that Pelosi, Schiff, Mueller, and the rest of the gang that couldn’t shoot straight knew from day one that there was no Russian conspiracy and that even the supposed hack of Democrat computers was a red hearing. Yet the luminaries of the left were on every available outlet of the ABCCBSNBCCNNMASNBCNPRPBS Cartel indoctrinating the low information voters with their propaganda day and night.
Then came the Impeachment Hoax. Facts now show the Democrats were plotting to impeach Trump before he was elected. The Washington Post started calling for impeachment on the very day Trump was inaugurated. And the disloyal opposition have also admitted they had to impeach Trump as part of their 2020 election strategy. Talk about trying to interfere in an election! They impeached the President for things that were not criminal, that were built on false testimony, inaccurate and made-up reporting, and purely out of spite.
Three years of attacks such as no other politician ever has survived, and President Trump not only survived but he thrived. Then along came COVID-19 and sat down beside him.
Accepting the flawed models of Fauci, Birx, and other globalists the President erred on the side of caution when it came to American lives. He gave us a textbook example of crisis management along the way. Taking over the decrepit testing system left moldering in warehouses Mr. Trump quickly led us to the most dynamic testing regimen in history, directed manufacturers to make a surplus of the masks and respirators needed. He left the mechanics of the economic shutdowns in the hands of the governors of the States as is proper in our federal system.
And America ground to a halt.
Unemployment skyrocketed and stimulus money flowed to who knows where out of Washington as money was created out of thin air. The stock market cratered wiping out the savings of millions. Now we are socially distanced into isolation.
As a natural contrarian President Trump has always gone against the grain. He was the first world leader to shut down travel from China. And early on he began to say, “We cannot let the cure be worse than the problem itself.”
Instinctively knowing there may be more deaths from the ramifications of stopping the greatest economy the world has ever seen than from the Social Security Flu. Now President Trump is the cheerleader for Making America Great Again Again.
Certainly, there are obstacles. The Democrats who identify as journalists are spewing their disinformation and hate wall-to-wall online, on the air, and in print every day. The Democrat machine in Congress is threatening to impeach the President again and holding more hearings on conjured evidence heading towards preprogrammed conclusions.
All this resistance aside the country is starting to open. The pent-up demand that follows any artificial roadblock to supply and demand will make the economy blossom. No matter how the Progressives try to get Americans addicted to free money. No matter how hard they try to turn the U.S. into a command economy sitting atop a submissive herd of regimented citizens the spirit of America cries out, “Let’s get back to work!”
What is the political damn the Democrats seek to build across the flood of people returning to normalcy? I call it the Blue State Blockade. Thirty percent of America’s economy is in California and New York. Two States long controlled by entrenched Democrat machines. Both these Progressive sink holes have spent themselves into the failed state zone of economics. The Federal Government/taxpayers spent billions supporting these two Democrat fiefdoms during the COVID pandemic. We built them hospitals they demanded and never needed, we sent them hospital ships, and military personnel to meet needs that never materialized. And now they’re demanding we bail them out of the financial difficulties they created, and which existed long before anyone ever heard of the Social Security Flu.
Like all Progressives they don’t just ask for help. They demand it. They’re holding the economy hostage saying they won’t open their States until they get the money. And it isn’t just the Big Two. Most of the other blue States are also demanding bailouts. These cynical power brokers believe that if they can keep the economy or at least as much of it as they control shut down long enough, they can cause a Greater Depression. They long to cast President Trump as the 21st Century Hoover so they can wheel Old Joe out of the basement as the new FDR and usher in the Green New Deal.
Never in the History of the world has any society quarantined healthy people. Never in the History of the world has any society voluntarily shut down its own economy. We are in uncharted territory. What will it be? Will it be a return to Trump’s Morning in America or a retreat to the Trifecta’s Mourning in America?
We need to ask ourselves, “Why would any political party see the destruction of our own economy and all the resulting problems that accompany poverty as a good thing?” Now we should ask, “How can anyone who has any respect for the dignity of people support such a cynical policy?” Perhaps we should ask ourselves these questions the next time we get to vote?
In this lost world we see through a glass darkly. It’s hard to make predictions, especially about the future. I know what I would like to see. Kick out the jams and let the good times roll! Let’s get back to work and get something done. However, I know that the fate of nations is in God’s hands. He has given us the formula for success if we’re wise enough to take it.
“If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
Corporately that’s it. Individually I know I can swear, “And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

Trump’s MAGA Model on The World Stage March 3, 2020

We’ve all heard of the annual conference at the World Economic Forum (WEF) at Davos. The World Economic Forum is the International Organization for Public-Private Cooperation. It was established in 1971 as a not-for-profit foundation and is headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland.
According to the WEF website, “It is independent, impartial, and not tied to any special interests. The Forum strives in all its efforts to demonstrate entrepreneurship in the global public interest while upholding the highest standards of governance. Moral and intellectual integrity is at the heart of everything it does.”
On the other side critics such as Michael Ivanovitch, an independent analyst focusing on the world economy, geopolitics, and investment strategy describe the yearly conference in less than glowing terms. In a recent interview Ivanovitch said, “The forum is a talking shop without any consequence for world affairs … On the economic front, you will just hear platitudes you’ve heard ‘x’ times already.”
Good or bad this is one of the major platforms in the world of international economics and finance. Most of us out here in fly-over country may ignore it what with the Super Bowl and all, but the movers and shakers on the world stage attend or at least pay rapt attention to who’s moving and what’s shaking. So of course, despite the ever-on-going slow motion coup grinding on in the Emerald City President Trump made his appearance as the biggest mover and shaker of all. And he didn’t’ disappoint those of us who’re moved when he shakes up the collectivists plotting and planning to micromanage our lives.
Holding up the accomplishments of his America First agenda President Trump spoke of the rebirth of the American dream pointing to the success of economic nationalism in front of the globalist elites gathered at Davos. The President cited the fact that since he was elected and thanks to his economic policies, America has gained over seven million jobs, currently has the lowest unemployment rate in 50 years, and is experiencing rising wages and household incomes for the first time in decades.
At the annual conference in Switzerland according to the President it’s his economic nationalist agenda in a free market system that provides a successful model for the world not globalism. In his speech, which should be the center stage for forward thinking discussion, Mr. Trump said, “A nation’s highest duty is to its own citizens.” Trump also said, “Honoring this truth is the only way to build faith and confidence in the market system. Only when governments put their own people first will people be fully invested in their national futures.” And, “A pro-worker, pro-citizen, pro-family agenda demonstrates how a nation can thrive when its communities, its companies, its government work together for the good of the whole nation.”
Then getting very specific President Trump continued, “Today I hold up the American model as an example to the world of a working system of free enterprise that will produce the most benefits for the most people in the 21st century and beyond.” Speaking of how previous administrations negotiated we-lose-they-win trade deals that gutted America’s industrial base and impoverished our middle-class the President said, “I think it’s primarily the reason that I ran.”
Turning to those who tell us the sky is falling President Trump said, “We must reject the perennial prophets of doom and their predictions of the apocalypse. They are the heirs of yesterday’s foolish fortunetellers.” Once again getting specific President Trump addressed the goals of their predictions of overpopulation, mass starvation, and an end of oil based on phony science and media hype saying, “These alarmists always demand the same thing, absolute power to dominate, transform, and control every aspect of our lives.” He went on to declare unequivocally, “We will never let radical socialists destroy our economy, wreck our country or eradicate our liberty.”
Highlighting who the culprits are our President took aim at the metastasizing legions of bureaucrats spreading like a festering fog around the world having the courage to say, “Today I urge other nations to follow our example and liberate your citizens from the crushing weight of bureaucracy.” Then in conclusion he let the world know America doesn’t want to control them instead he is shining a light on a successful way forward, “With that, you have to run your own countries the way you want.”

Show Me The Money October 9, 2019

The Laffer Curve is a theory developed by supply-side economist Arthur Laffer to show the relationship between tax rates and the amount of tax revenue collected by governments. The curve is used to illustrate Laffer’s argument that sometimes cutting tax rates can increase total tax revenue. The Laffer Curve is alive and well in the Renaissance America of President Donald J. Trump. As a matter of fact the policies of the Trump Administration have demonstrated that the Laffer Curve isn’t constrained by international borders.
You see Trump’s 2017 tax reform is delivering on its promise to bring money back to the US from overseas by making America more competitive.
Before this monumental tax reform the US had one of the highest corporate tax rates in the world. And on top of that we had a worldwide tax system that compared unfavorably with the territorial systems in 28 of the other 36 countries who are members of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). The OECD is an intergovernmental economic organization founded in 1961 to stimulate economic progress and world trade.
This worldwide tax system taxed the foreign earnings of US corporations once their overseas profits were brought home. This provided a massive incentive for our corporations to park their earnings from foreign subsidiaries offshore. In the year before Trump’s tax reform US corporations had more than $2 trillion stashed overseas.
Besides this massive reduction in available capital in the US these incentive draining tax policies led many US firms to implement what came to be called “Inversion Transactions.” This means they gave up their status as American corporations and reincorporated in foreign countries often through acquisitions and mergers.
The 2017 tax reform bill President Trump proposed and shepherded through Congress has radically changed all this. This history making law lowered the corporate tax rate from 35% to 21% and it also allowed US companies to bring money home from their foreign subsidiaries at the much reduced US tax rate. On top of that the bill also made changes to laws which address the ownership and profitability of intellectual property. Under the previous laws there were economic incentives to locate the ownership of intellectual property in low-tax foreign countries. That has now been reversed and American is once again the best place on earth to innovate.
The new Trump inspired program has erased the lure of corporate inversions and fostered an economic environment where the US is once again an attractive and competitive place to host international businesses. And there is even proof in a two real world multi-billion dollar examples: The AbbVie acquisition of Allergan and the new Pfizer-Mylan combination.
According to Fox Business News, “Allergan was previously a U.S. company, but in 2015, it became an Irish company through a merger with Actavis. Mylan also was previously a U.S. company, but in 2015, it became a Dutch company. The adverse U.S. tax rules, coupled with low foreign tax rates and territorial tax systems, made it advantageous for the companies to shield non-U.S. income from the reach of the U.S. tax system by becoming incorporated and headquartered overseas.
AbbVie itself tried to invert in 2014, but the Treasury Department blocked its effort. A recent Bloomberg story noted, ‘A few years ago, this deal would likely have gone differently – Allergan would be the one buying AbbVie.’
The 2017 tax reform changed that. Representative Kevin Brady (R-TX), who led the congressional battle for tax reform as Chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, said following the announcement of the AbbVie-Allergan transaction that, as a result of 2017 tax reform, ‘companies can domicile here and stay competitive throughout the world.’”
And as Robert Willens, an independent tax consultant told Bloomberg, “Unlike an inversion where U.S. income is transformed into foreign income, in the instant case, the polar opposite may well occur since, here, foreign income might be transformed into U.S. income.”
So how is this working today? According to Investor’s Business Daily, “They said it wouldn’t happen, but it did: The money companies stashed overseas to protect them from high U.S. corporate tax rates is flooding back in, boosting growth, jobs and confidence in the economy. Thank the Trump tax cuts.
All told, the Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) reported, some $305.6 billion returned to the U.S. from overseas accounts. That’s a $1.2 trillion annual rate, and far more than the $35 billion one year before.”
By changing incentive-killing tax laws which appeared to be more like confiscation and the punishment of success President Trump is making America more competitive which is how he planned all along to Make America Great Again.

Serving Those Who Served US September 11, 2019

After the rollout of President Trump’s Maintaining Systems and Strengthening Integrated Outside Networks Act (MISSION Act) Veterans Affairs Secretary Robert Wilkie responded to the previously predicted problems on Military.com. “One story said to ‘expect glitches.’ Another said it was ‘confusing.’ Some lawmakers who supported the bipartisan bill suddenly warned about the possibility of ‘overreach’ by the Trump Administration, while others warned of a ‘ tech nightmare.’ But thanks to thousands of dedicated VA workers around the country and President Donald J. Trump’s support for this historic reform, elements of the MISSION Act took effect on June 6, and veterans immediately began benefitting from the largest transformation in veterans’ health care since the end of World War II.”
Secretary Robert Wilkie went on to clarify what this fundamental change in the services we offer to those who answered the call and fought for our freedom and our interests around the world is. “At its core, the MISSION Act reflects the President’s vision that veterans need to be at the center of their health care decisions. If it’s too long a drive to the VA, if wait times are too long, if we can’t offer the services a veteran needs, or if it’s simply in the best medical interest of a veteran to use non-VA services, they can now seek care in their community.
That change was a long time coming for our rural veterans, many of whom live nowhere close to a VA hospital or clinic. And it’s much more than just an extension of the Choice program enacted under President Obama. That program was temporary, narrow and incomplete, while the MISSION Act is permanent and will put a much broader group of veterans in the driver’s seat when it comes to their health.
The response from those who wore the uniform to defend this great Nation was immediate and sustained. A tool we developed to decide whether veterans are eligible for community care is being used tens of thousands of times each day.
The MISSION Act also created an urgent care benefit that finally gives veterans what others have in their neighborhood; access to nearby care to treat ailments that need immediate attention, like the flu or a sprained ankle. One veteran in Texas said this change is a ‘godsend’ because under the old system, getting a sore throat treated meant a 45-minute ride each way to the VA.
And he’s not alone. Thousands of urgent care visits have been scheduled for veterans under the MISSION Act. By mid-July, we were starting to exceed 500 visits each day, and that number has been growing each week as veterans learn more about this important new benefit.
In the end, the MISSION Act simply gives the VA what all other major healthcare systems have — a way of referring patients to outside care when needed. Community care is one piece of that, as is the new urgent care benefit. We have nearly 5,000 urgent care providers in our network so far, and that number is expanding as we continue to provide veterans with more options to get care when and where they need it.”
After years of neglect a broken system is getting fixed. During his historic campaign in 2016, then candidate Trump called out the VA for its failure to meet the needs of America’s heroes. It was a broken system that no president had been able to cure. Now after two years in office we’re finally on the road to serving those who served US thanks to the vision and leadership of America’s blue-collar billionaire, President Donald J. Trump.
