I am a Christian. I make no apologies, and I am happy to say I am a follower of Jesus Christ. He is my Lord and Savior, and everything I am and everything I hold dear comes from Him.
This was once believed by the majority of our citizens to be a Christian nation. I know that our politically correct re-written imperial History now tells us that we were a pluralistic hodgepodge from the beginning; however the record is clear we were founded as a nation built upon Judeo-Christian beliefs.
As one source expresses it, “The founding of this country as well as the framing of the key political documents rests upon a Christian foundation. That doesn’t necessarily mean that the United States is a Christian nation, although some framers used that term. But it does mean that the foundations of this republic presuppose a Christian view of human nature and God’s providence.”
Some of the Founders of our country and the Framers of our Constitution were very direct in their statements regarding the nature of our nation.
John Adams in a letter to the officers of the First Brigade of the Third Division of the Militia of Massachusetts stated, “We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion. Avarice, ambition, revenge, or gallantry, would break the strongest cords of our Constitution as a whale goes through a net. Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other”
In George Washington’s Farewell Address, which is still read aloud at the beginning of every new Congress, our first president said, “And let us with caution indulge the supposition, that morality can be maintained without religion. Whatever may be conceded to the influence of refined education on minds of peculiar structure, reason and experience both forbid us to expect that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principle.”
What do we see today? Instead of celebrating the influence of God in our founding every child is indoctrinated from grade school through graduate school that America was founded on the principle of the separation of church and state. Yet you can scour the Constitution of the United States, and you will NOT find the phrase, “separation of church and state” or anything close to it. However, in the Constitution of the Soviet Union the doctrine of the separation of Church and State is found: “In order to ensure to citizens freedom of conscience, the church in the U.S.S.R. is separated from the State, and the school from the church. Freedom of religious worship and freedom of antireligious propaganda is recognized for all citizens” (Article 124).
While the concept of separation of church and state might be implied by the First Amendment which states that “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof….”, it says nothing about the “separation of church and state.” And, even if you accept the principle of the separation of church and state being implied by the First Amendment, its implication is not there to protect Americans from religion, it is there to protect religious Americans from the government.
If it isn’t in the Constitution where does this wall of separation come from? The phrase originates in Thomas Jefferson’s 1802 letter to the Baptist Association of Danbury, Connecticut. In this letter the Danbury Baptists complained to the president that Connecticut’s law was oppressive to their religion. Among other things, Connecticut’s law allowed towns to levy taxes for the support of a religion designated by the majority of voters; since Connecticut was overwhelmingly Congregationalist, the law effectively forced Baptists throughout the state to support Congregational churches.
While Jefferson was powerless to change Connecticut’s law (the First Amendment did not yet apply to the states), Jefferson used the occasion to express his belief that no such law could be implemented on the federal level. Observed Jefferson, “I contemplate with sovereign reverence that act of the whole American people which declared that their legislature should ‘make no law regarding an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof,’ thus building a wall of separation between Church and State.”
The current anti-religious environment in our land is based upon court decisions which have given this single sentence from a private letter the force of law. It has been used by the courts to re-interpret the Constitution from its clear meaning to one that is the mirror image of what its authors intended.
Today America is ruled by a Progressive cartel made up of politicians, crony-capitalists, Academics providing the philosophical foundations, and the Corporations Once Known as the Mainstream Media providing cover. This minority clique relies on low information voters, government employees and those on the dole to keep them in power through elections that supposedly approximate a choice. In reality it is usually a choice between two progressives from the twin-headed party of power.
Following the dictates of secularism and enforcing the religion of secular-humanism and its sacramental hoax, man-made global warming, these wannabe totalitarians have cleansed God from our schools, government, and public life.
When God destroyed His chosen people He told them why, “Because they have forsaken Me and made this an alien place, because they have burned incense in it to other gods whom neither they, their fathers, nor the kings of Judah have known, and have filled this place with the blood of the innocents.”
Today America not only condones it promotes abortion on demand. According to Abortion No: “Many people fail to appreciate the sheer magnitude of bloodshed, suffering, and death that legalized abortion has introduced into the human experience – both in the United States and worldwide. Far more human lives have been violently ended by this scourge than by any other war or genocide in all of history.”
Freedom Outpost sums up this tragedy: “Every single day a tragedy greater than 9/11 takes place, but hardly anyone is talking about it anymore. On September 11th, 2001 more than 3,000 Americans lost their lives when three giant steel frame skyscrapers were brought down in New York City. That was a great evil, but so is the fact that we purposely kill more than 3,000 of our own babies every single day in this country. The fact that society has generally accepted the practice of abortion does not lessen the evil that we have done one bit. Today, the United States has the highest abortion rate in the entire western world, and hardly anyone makes a fuss about it anymore. In fact, a lot of Americans laugh about it, and some even do comedy skits about it. We are so casual about abortion these days that one university is actually recruiting teen girls to have abortions for a “scientific study” that is being conducted. But someday we will be judged for what we have done. We have killed more than 56 million of our own babies, and their blood is crying out for justice.”
Looking at the size and scope of this abomination, if God does not judge us he owes an apology to Sodom and Gomorrah.
However God tells us as He told Israel, “ if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
I believe that God does not judge nations because of the sin that is in them for the same sins are in all people at all times in all places. I believe God judges nations because of the sin they condone. Look about you and ask yourself, “What sins do we not condone.”
If we will turn He will heal us. If we do not turn we will burn. And in that bonfire of our vanity we will know the answer to my question, why should God save America? If we don’t repent, turn from our evil ways, and turn to Him, He shouldn’t.

Going Left to Get Right Doesn’t Work in Politics November 16, 2015

I have long said that no one gets to live in the world they grew up in, change moves too fast to allow for that. However our governing elite and their indoctrinated followers seem dedicated to the proposition that we shouldn’t even get to live under the same rules or in the same culture.
Taking a look at a few things and how they have been upended and are now used to facilitate the transformation of America.
The Court and Congress:
The Supreme Court can reverse itself at any time. Today it can deliberate and decide the Constitution says green is green and tomorrow they can deliberate and say green is yellow. It gives our Constitution a fluid quality that matches perfectly with the Progressive advocates of a living document. In other words in our system as it has evolved (or progressed) the Constitution isn’t written in stone it is written in sand.
Or without re-interpreting themselves they can re-interpret Congress to declare constitutional what is clearly unconstitutional. The penalties in Obamacare were said by Congress not to be taxes so that it could pass the law, since the Senate cannot originate tax laws. Then the Supreme Court declared the penalties to be taxes to declare the law constitutional. Which should make the law unconstitutional on its face since all tax laws must begin in the House and this law was written in the Senate using slight-of-hand to pretend it started in the house.
Currently a case is making its way to the Supreme Court saying that Obamacare is unconstitutional on the origination of tax clause. Let’s see how the Justices contort themselves to find the law constitutional this time.
Academia:
We have reached a point where our best and brightest at colleges across the country are actually demonstrating to limit free speech as they express their aggressively progressive ideals by demanding protection from microaggressions such someone expressing ideas that conflict with their indoctrination. College used to be a place where conflicting ideas came to compete in the marketplace of thought. Now it is a place where a rigid conformity to the party-line is choking out everything that does not salute the upside down flag of Transformed America.
How did we get here? So many I talk to disagree with what the government party is doing to transform America yet they continue to vote for those who are leading the charge. They fail to see how the very problems they complain about have been caused by the programs of the people they vote for. It always amazes me how many people think right, talk right, live right and vote left. In other words as opposed to what is sometimes necessary when driving on congested streets going left to get right doesn’t work in politics.

How Many Nails Does it Take to Seal a Coffin November 11, 2015

How many lopsided trade deals does it take to teach a nation they are being sold down the river? Apparently it takes one more than we have.
After months of secrecy President Obama has the chutzpa to throw the thing online and challenge people to read it. Saying “Along with the text of the agreement, we’ve posted detailed materials to help explain it. It’s an unprecedented degree of transparency — and it’s the right thing to do.”
Sounds great doesn’t it? How open. How accessible. Give it a quick read and let’s get on with the job of selling out our heritage for a bowl for oatmeal.
The next time you have a few moments free between jobs why not give it a go. It is only 5,544 pages containing 2,056,560 words which is according to the Daily Caller:
- 18x longer than the King James Bible
- 77x longer than the Affordable Care Act
- 63x longer than the entire Harry Potter series
- 73x longer than the entire Lord of the Rings trilogy
- 06x longer than the entire Game of Thrones series
- 33x longer than the entire works of Shakespeare
- 65x longer than the New Oxford American Dictionary 3rd Edition
Just take a little break from trying to make ends meet while you compete with workers around the world making ten dollars a day and make a decision about whether we should take another bite of the free trade apple. Of course no matter what you decide the twin headed party of power in Chicago on the Potomac is going to shove this give away of American jobs and prosperity down your throat.
TPP is an agreement between the United States and 11 other countries – Australia, Brunei, Canada, Chile, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore, and Vietnam. China is not a party to this treaty.
According to Public Citizen:
The TPP would expand the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) “trade” pact model that has spurred massive U.S. trade deficits and job loss, downward pressure on wages, unprecedented levels of inequality and new floods of agricultural imports. The TPP not only replicates, but expands NAFTA’s special protections for firms that offshore U.S. jobs. And U.S. TPP negotiators literally used the 2011 Korea FTA – under which exports have fallen and trade deficits have surged – as the template for the TPP.

Although it is called a “free trade” agreement, the TPP is not mainly about trade. Of TPP’s 29 draft chapters, only five deal with traditional trade issues. One chapter would provide incentives to offshore jobs to low-wage countries. Many would impose limits on government policies that we rely on in our daily lives for safe food, a clean environment, and more. Our domestic federal, state and local policies would be required to comply with TPP rules.
So if the stagnant or falling wages of the last few decades have left you feeling as if you haven’t given enough hold on because the DC Leviathan is about to ask for more.
I would now make a plea for everyone to call their senators and congressman but does anyone believe that would make a difference. This is just another milestone on the road to the 3rd world by those who seek to fundamentally transform America. Then along comes Hillary, the nail in our coffin.

The Best Advice for Success in Modern America November 10, 2015

Europe is in the midst of an existential crisis. The EU has built a cradle to grave welfare state partly funded by the U.S. picking up the tab for their defense. They have erased the borders between their states and given Brussels the power to control their immigration policies. Their left-of-center social policies have opened the door to uncontrolled mass migration. If this is left unchecked it will swamp them in 3rd world invaders. Within a few generations the traditional citizens of these once great nations will be replaced as the dominant people in their own homelands. France, Germany, and Italy may all be Arab and Muslim and Europe as we have always known it will be no more.
Will the socialists of Europe have enough loyalty to their own culture to do what must be done to save it? Or will they allow political correctness and their daydream of multiculturalism complete the suicide they began in WWI and continued in WWII?
Now look at America. Our borders are porous at best. We can’t even call illegal immigrants illegal immigrants anymore. Our versions of 3rd world invaders qualify for welfare, food stamps and motor-voter driver’s licenses. Newspapers and other media outlets regularly fail to report on the immigration status of criminals. Though the government routinely speaks of the invaders as people living in the shadows these shadow people now come into the light and hold mass demonstrations demanding even more rights yet they are never identified or apprehended.
Not since the Visigoths and Vandals decided the Roman Empire looked like a pleasant place to live as long as they could loot, burn and rape has a civilization so serenely welcomed its destroyers in with open arms. What we are witnessing in Europe today is happening right here. Everyone knows it. Our leaders and the Corporations Once Known as the Mainstream Media are complicit in the assault.
If we don’t stop this it will stop us.
Best advice for success in Modern America down the path our leaders are following: Learn Spanish and get a government job.
Best advice if we want to save our nation from sinking into the one-world cesspool: Close the borders, cut off the welfare which acts as a magnet, cut off the jobs and watch our uninvited guests go home. No one rounded them up to bring them here and if we quit paying them to stay no one will have to round them up to drive them home.

Rush the Big Voice on the Right November 5, 2015

In a recent article in the National Review Rush Limbaugh, the God Father of conservative media recently catalogued how he not only birthed but also nurtured the growth of an alternative voice alongside what he aptly calls the “state-controlled media.”
I can remember the first time I heard him in 1986. I was so excited to hear someone say what I was thinking. For years I had felt like I was all alone. Outside my wife, a few friends and relatives I didn’t think anyone thought or felt like I did about the slide of our nation and our society from a land of limited government, personal liberty, and economic opportunity into a socialist quagmire. Since it was all I ever heard I thought the mainstream media was reporting the news and presenting what was the majority opinion. When I heard Rush I immediately knew this wasn’t the case and I knew there was someone who was ready, willing and able to champion the conservative philosophy against the avalanche of Progressive propaganda.
In this article Rush relates that during the first two years of his show he traveled 45 weekends each year to build a firm foundation with his radio-affiliates. His Rush to Excellence Tours regularly drew crowds from a few thousand to over 10,000. At these electrifying events he made us all laugh as he poked fun at liberals, clearly presented and explained conservative ideas, while promoting traditional American values.
Starting in 1991, some of the new conservative radio syndicators that were springing up across the nation began to offer his substitute hosts their own national shows. In addition hundreds of local-radio stations switched their format to talk and sought out conservative hosts. The voices of conservatism were spreading into the space Rush was creating speaking to an audience he was awakening.
Growing from 125 radio stations with a talk format when he started in 1986 today there are over 2500 talk stations and the majority of them lean toward the conservative side. Rush is on over 600 of these stations every day.
Not stopping with revolutionizing the radio industry Rush moved on to transform the television world which had been dominated for years by the triple-headed democrat parrot ABC, NBC, CBS and their biased stepchild Ted Turner’s Progressive megaphone, CNN. In 1992 he began hosting a national TV show that for four years broke new ground with Rush’s own brand of hilariously entertaining conservative commentary. The great popularity of this show was followed in 1997 by the birth of Fox News as a network that did not march in lockstep with the democrat propaganda arm masquerading as an independent media.
Presidents from Clinton to Obama have complained that Rush has three hours a day to speak his ideas with no one representing the other side. This is patently ridiculous since in the beginning it was Rush on one side and all of American Media on the other. Even today Rush and all his clones are still outnumbered by the co-opted and corrupt networks and their mirror image in print. Numerous Progressive oligarchs have tried to bankroll liberal talk shows to compete with Rush and all of them have failed for lack of an audience.
When summing up the results of the Rush Revolution no one can say it better than the great man himself, “Its consequences are unmistakable. I firmly believe that the conservative-media revolution has caused the liberal media to abandon any pretense of objectivity and fairness and actively advocate on the Left’s behalf. This has led in turn to the hyper-partisan nature of our politics today.”
Reflecting on the situation before he arrived on the scene Rush continued, “When Republicans were perennial losers and happy about it, the media could stay hidden behind their wall of phony objectivity. But they were called out. Now there is a fierce competition for the hearts and minds of the American people, which the Left used to believe it owned. So it is not I, nor anyone else in conservatism, who is to blame for the partisanship in Washington. That is on the Democrats and the Left, for trying to destroy the traditions and institutions that have defined this country. We stand in defense of this great nation, and we always will. And we look forward to the Republican Party’s someday joining us.”
The advent of the Rush Limbaugh show brought a ray of light into a dark world of controlled media and partisan subjectivity passing itself off as objective reporting. For millions of us Rush and his insightful commentary are the red pill that helped lead us out of the matrix of a progressive nightmare trying to lead the way to the ultimate destruction of the American Dream.

A Parallel Universe Without Progressives November 4, 2015

An astrophysicist, Ranga-Ram Chary at the European Space Agency’s Planck Space Telescope data center at CalTech says he may have found evidence of alternate or parallel universes by looking back in time to just after the Big Bang more than 13 billion years ago.
Then there is always the possible parallel universe of dark matter. As researchers learn more about dark matter’s complexities, it seems possible that our galaxy lives on top of a shadow galaxy without us even knowing it.
I have often heard it said that the universe is so large that anything we can imagine exists somewhere. Taking that as a starting point, for a flight of fancy let’s imagine a parallel universe without Progressives.
We wouldn’t have had the 16th amendment. Therefore we would still have a land without personal income tax and the Federal Government would have lived on fees and tariffs as it always did before the Progressives secured a source of money large enough to spend us into oblivion.
We wouldn’t have had the 17th amendment and the senators would still be selected by the State legislators. This was one of the checks and balances the Founders embedded in the original Constitution to protect the federal nature of the Federal Government. The House represents the people and the Senate was supposed to represent the States.
We wouldn’t have had Woodrow Wilson to take us into the War to End all Wars that ended up building up the three largest empires in the world and setting the stage of WWII.
We wouldn’t have had The Creature from Jekyll Island, the Federal Reserve System, and America’s representative of the international banking cartel. Without the Fed to mismanage the money supply there would never have been the banking crisis of the early 1930s. The crisis that set the stage for the re-boot of America’s free economy as a centrally-planned command and control machine used to transform every sector of American life.
We wouldn’t have had FDR to impose fascist economic forms on America extending what would have been a recession into the Great Depression.
We wouldn’t have had JFK to lose his nerve in 1961. Thus the Castro brothers and their murderous savagery would have fallen with the successful Bay of Pigs invasion.
We wouldn’t have had LBJ to build a Great Society safety net that has become a hammock entrapping uncounted millions and generations in a trap of dependency.
We wouldn’t have had BHO to fundamentally transform America into a falling empire and a soon to be third world backwater.
And we wouldn’t have HRC campaigning for president as Mrs. Santa Clause ready to give everyone who doesn’t work everything they want while she seeks to take the Second Amendment from the rest of us.
Just imagine. It’s easy if you try.

Jabberwocky as National Policy November 3, 2015

Not since New Speak became the national PC language of our fundamentally transformed America have the words of the political elite been as tortured by the meanings as they have been lately.
Take for instance the recent death of a true American hero in Iraq.
Ash Carter our defensive Secretary of Defense was able to point out with a straight face that while Army Master Sgt. Joshua Wheeler, the first American killed in action in Iraq since 2011 died in combat it was not a combat death.
And of course our Jabberwock-in-Chief as usual WOWed the pampered poodle pundits of the state-controlled media with his dazzling display of not only doublespeak but also doublethink when he explained that “Deploying special forces to Syria is not ‘Boots on the ground.”
Then again war is peace and obedience is happiness.

Let’s Really Clean the Barn October 29, 2015

Outgoing Speaker John Boehner gave a parting gift to his partner President Obama steaming on the floor of the House with the comment that he wanted to “Clean the barn.” What he did instead was add to the barn litter he is leaving behind. His Omnibus Budget Bill aptly entitled the Bipartisan Budget Act of 2015 that funds the government for the rest of President Obama’s term continues the surrender by Congress of the only leverage they have over a runaway executive: the power of the purse.
This deal was presented and opposed at the same time by the Republican leadership in a good cop bad cop routine by the outgoing speaker and the incoming, Paul Ryan. While Boehner extolled the budget deal before voting for it Ryan said it “stinks” before voting for it. With this deal the Republicans have now gone back on every promise they have made in the last seven years to win control of Congress, and what we end up with is another cop sold out to the Outfit.
If John Boehner really wanted to clean the barn he would have taken 434 other perpetually re-elected shills with him. This pack of hacks is totally sold out to K Street. No matter which side of the aisle they are on they are so bust feathering their own post political nests and advancing the agendas of special interests they have no time for the people who elect them.
They have violated the Pledge to America which the Boehner Republicans issued to win the House. They pledged to work to stop Obama, reform Congress and listen to the voice of the American people. They promised that the text of all bills would be published online a minimum of 72 hours before a vote. They said they would no longer allow the business of the people to be hidden and passed without even reading. This budget deal breaks that pledge.
This is a complex bill that is over 140 pages filled with goodies for everyone. It was obviously under construction for quite some time yet it was sprung with only 48 hours for review. After two wave elections where the conservative base came out in force and gave the Republicans control of both the House and the Senate we can now definitively say, “It’s business as usual in the Land of Oz.”
The Republicans following their seemingly suicidal DNA keep nominating the next Rhino in line then they are surprised when the conservative base and the right leaning independents stay home. Perhaps 2016 will be different. Perhaps one of the challengers will catch lightening in a bottle and make it through the maze of primaries to the nomination. Perhaps Carson, Trump, Cruz, or Rand will somehow elbow all the establishment stalking horses out of the way and grab the golden ring. If the GOP was wise enough to do that they might stand a chance against the stacked deck of Hillary – Media – imported voters and win.
Of course if by some miracle someone one who was actually dedicated to breaking the stranglehold the twin headed governing party has on Washington did make it to the Whitehouse they would then be faced with the prospect of sailing into battle with the entrenched GOP leadership on the Hill.
Boehner may be gone but Ryan will carry the torch. Just look at his courageous pledge that there will be no Comprehensive Immigration Reform until 2017. WOW! Isn’t that just what people want to hear? He is going to wait until 2017 to give amnesty to tens of millions, issue millions more H2-B visas so low wage foreigners have an easier time competing with our sons and daughters, and formalize the collapse of our borders.
Reid may be gone but McConnell will bar the door to restraining a rogue president with the power of the purse as he promises “No more government shutdowns.” And if all else fails no matter who is elected the government bureaucracy will grind on just as before churning out regulations with the force of law and doing the actual ruling and enforcement of the coming totalitarian welfare state.
So what are we to do?
There is a classic bumper sticker that shows up in every election cycle, “Don’t Re-elect anyone.” I know there are a few representatives and a few senators who are not sold out to K Street and the special interests. If you happen to be served by one of these they are probably worth retaining. However no one should vote for someone because they “Bring the bacon home.” We need people who will put the Federal Government on a diet and let the bacon stay at home with the people who actually raised the hog.
The mood of the country certainly seems to be “Throw the rascals out!” However, so many just vote for the party of their parents. They vote for the party that is part of their cultural or family tradition without ever thinking about who they are voting for or what they will do once they are elected or re-elected again and again.
Einstein is given the credit for a quote that almost everyone knows, “Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
This quote sums up the voting strategy of the majority of Americans. Over and over we send the same people back and then wonder why nothing changes. If we want change we have got to return to citizen legislators and reject the professional political class that has a hammerlock on power.
If the mood of the country prevails I think I could win any race by changing my name to “None of the Above.” If it doesn’t prevail, if the Oligarchs and their re-elected lackeys somehow manage to manufacture another victory, I believe many people will despair of ever making a change through the current rigged electoral process. Seeing this disillusionment in the future inspired me to write The Constitution Failed in 2010.
When I first presented this book at book signings and in conferences many people would accost me. Some even yelled in my face, “How dare you say that the Constitution has failed.” I received threats and attacks from all quarters. Today when I do book signings and have this book on my table people look at it and say, “You know that’s right.”
I have never contended that the Constitution has always been a failure. Obviously it created the space for personal freedom, individual liberty, and economic opportunity to build the greatest nation in History. However, if the main purpose was to secure to its posterity the blessing of a limited government and today we have a federal leviathan that crushes descent and smothers freedom at the moment how can we say it is a success?
Let us hope that the bell of freedom will once again ring throughout our land that the awakened and aware citizens will rise up in their righteous indignation and throw the rascals out. Let us hope that change will finally come and we the people will once again wrest control of our government from those who have traded our heritage for an entitlement driven welfare state.
When all the dust has settled, when all the shouting is over let’s hope we don’t find ourselves singing the final lamenting line from that old Who song about revolution, “Meet the new Boss. Same as the old Boss.”

Last week I offered five simple solutions that could turn this ship around.
First, jettison the Empire to save the Republic
Second, declare our energy independence.
Third, end the de facto amnesty.
Fourth, end the centrally planned welfare state.
Fifth, grow the economy instead of the bureaucracy to bring back prosperity, opportunity, and hope.
Does anyone realistically think the two headed leviathan in Washington will implement any of them? No matter who is elected the bureaucracy will maintain full speed ahead into the iceberg of collapse. In other words these fixes may be easy to propose however they are impossible to implement given the current toxic climate in Chicago on the Potomac.
Look at the Planned Parenthood scandal for an example of how degraded our society has become. Secretly produced videos clearly show Planned Parenthood leaders laughing and joking about harvesting the organs of babies and selling them for profit. The supporters of Planned Parenthood respond by saying that the videos are heavily edited. Then we learn they were edited to take out things like taking trips to the bathroom and ordering food and that forensic experts overwhelmingly find them authentic. The advocates of abortion on demand do not dispute what is said they dispute the manner in which the information was obtained.
Progressives will argue for the personhood of chimpanzees because their DNA is a 99% match to human. Yet they deny the personhood of babies in the womb that are a 100% match. These types of dichotomies and absurdities among our ruling class remind one that hypocrisy is the tribute that vice pays to virtue.
Look at the current presidential demolition derby.
The Republicans clearly favor people who are not traditional Republicans. After looking over their establishment, mainline Republicans and the rank and file members of the Party are asking isn’t there someone else? I believe if Someone Else was on the Ballot in the coming primaries they could well win. As it is, since they must choose from people actually on the ballot after dismissing him as a reality star the betting is beginning to move towards a Trump win. Mr. Trump is a big man with big ideas, unfortunately most of these will need big government to accomplish and the hope for a return to limited government recedes a little further from the realm of possibility with big government advocates on both sides.
On the Democrat side we are witnessing the Clinton restoration and America is heading for a sequel to the Golden Nineties when character didn’t matter and White House interns were fair game. Hillary, after her original courageous testimony concerning Benghazi summed it up in “At this point what does it matter?” continues doing her Whitewater stonewalling routine to the applause of her devotees.
The handwriting is on the wall and we may have truly reached the tipping point where whoever wins the Democrat primaries wins the election. Eighteen States have voted Democrat in six consecutive elections with 242 electoral votes. University of Virginia political scientist Larry Sabato said the hurdle for Republicans doesn’t look any better if you count the underlying votes by citizens, not just the electoral results. “Democrats have also won the popular vote in five of the last six presidential contests,” Sabato said. “The demographic shifts heading to mid-century are all pro-Democratic.”
Add to this that the illegal migration invaders are being dispersed to red states combined with court ordered motor-voter status and what is coming is a tsunami of undocumented democrats to turn the red states blue. We are nearing a mirror image of Chicago where the Republicans often don’t even bother to run a candidate for mayor because they have a hard time finding sacrificial lambs.
They have elections in China. Everyone eighteen years or older can vote. They get the chance to choose between a communist and another communist. This adds up to an election in name only or a distinction without a difference.
In America today we get to choose between one of two members of the twin headed party of power. Whoever wins the government grows and more power is concentrated in Washington. Clinton, Bush, Trump, or Sanders whoever wins the bureaucracy continues to wield extra-constitutional power and the Founders dream of a limited government grows dimmer.
Seeing what is happening to our American heritage is like waking up one day and realizing that eventually all of your prized possessions and all of your memories will end up in a land fill.
This all reminds me that a pessimist is what an optimist calls a realist.
Sounds depressing doesn’t it? In the world we have little hope for change. We are on an express to national suicide and the fix is in. This is why I have written my latest book, Political Action Follows Political Philosophy. This book was written because I believe once liberty is extinguished it may be generations before the light of freedom will again burn bright. I wrote this book to be a seed for future generations so they will know what happened to the American experiment and provide the philosophical foundations for the rebirth of limited government, personal freedom, and economic opportunity.
Because, the vast majority of human action reflects the thoughts, beliefs, and feelings of the actor. There have always been and there will always be those whose actions are erratic or divorced from reality. The actions of this small minority are best ascribed to pathology not philosophy. For the rest of us, we think therefore we are. What we think about today we act upon tomorrow.
The Dispatches from the History of the Future contained in this book convey the basic political philosophy which I believe will one day re-inspire our nation to stride upon the stage of History with another round of liberating political action.
